Petersburg City-Wide Cleanup October 6, 7, 8, 2022
Fall is here, and by the consensus of the City Council, the Petersburg City-Wide Cleanup will be held on Thursday October 6 and Friday October 7 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and
Saturday October 8 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Drop off location is 214 East Jackson. There will be a $25.00 charge for each pick-up truck load and $10.00 for a single appliance.
Articles to be dropped off include old furniture, appliances, old lawn furniture, grills, cardboard, scrap metal and general Junk. Only 1 mattress and box spring will be allowed per household.
NO BRICKS, cinder blocks or concrete, NO TIRES, NO ELECTRONICS, SUCH AS TV's, COMPUTER EQUIPMENT OR FAX MACHINES, NO CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS, NO YARDWASTE OR
toxic waste material, SUCH AS PAINTS, THINNERS OR BATTERIES OF ANY TYPE.
This program is for City of Petersburg RESIDENTS ONLY! Proof of residency will be checked.
Residents are urged to take advantage of this city-wide event to clean up their property. For more information call City Hall at 632-3600.
