PORTA Bus Processes and City of Petersburg Traffic Control and Roadways

The City of Petersburg is asking that all drivers traveling on Monroe Street during student drop off and pickup at PORTA Elementary School heed the signs on Monroe Street and refrain from entering the area between 11th and 12th Streets at any time when any bus is engaged in drop off or pickup. This is the same protocol that was followed when the signage was present on Madison Street and Monroe Street before that.
